In India, hundreds of thousands of people live in makeshift houses and huts made of
straw, mud, plastic and tin. Many have no roof over their heads. With the help of your
donation, we can enable these destitute individuals and families in India to live in dignity
in a simple and stable home that can withstand the rainy months and the hot summer.

Depending on our financial situation, we would like to build ten to twenty houses
for the homeless in the Jubilee Year 2023.
The estimated cost of a house is CHF 12’000.00 (INR.10’00’000.00), in which
LIGHT in LIFE will invest CHF 4’000.00 (INR.350’000.00) for each house.
The remaining part is covered by local partners, aid organizations, benefactors, and the
contribution of the families, relatives and friends.
