FINANCIAL SUPPORT FOR VOCATIONAL OR HIGHER EDUCATION
After the higher secondary education, a number of eligible young students discontinue
their studies. The reasons for such a scenario can mainly be attributed to financial
difficulties, ignorance, lack of guidance, motivation, etc. Our aim is to support the
education of such young people when their parents are unable to provide the necessary
funds. LIGHT in LIFE will provide financial assistance to young people pursuing
vocational or professional courses after completing higher secondary education,
belonging to economically weaker families. It covers vocational and/or professional
training in the fields of medicine, engineering, para-medical, electro mechanics,
sanitation, etc. Those who successfully completes these courses will get better
placements, making them financially independent and enabling them to support their
families.
For the school year 2023/2024, we would like to support 50 young people.
Cost per Student / school year 2023/ 2024: CHF 610.00.
